Alan Bibby

It is with sadness that we have to announce the passing of Alan Bibby who was instrumental in the formation of The Wild Boar C.P.C. when he was landlord of ‘The Boar’ in the 1970’s.

It was ‘Bibby’, along with a small band of local shooting enthusiasts, who cast the mould for the Shooting Club which we all know and enjoy today.

He finally lost his battle with cancer peacefully on 17th November 2019 at the Sharston House Nursing Home in Knutsford.

Funeral arrangements:

The funeral took place on Tuesday10th December at 1.20pm **(NOT THURSDAY 12TH AS PREVIOUSLY STATED)**at Macclesfield Crematorium.

In Memory Of Our Durham

It is with great sadness that our Durham Roberts Snr passed away Friday 12th July (2019) following a car accident on the Monday 8th July. Durham will be dearly missed by us all and we send our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends x.

Durham's Funeral took place Friday 9th August at 1.20pm at the Macclesfield Crematorium Chapel, followed by burial at 2.00pm and then to back to the Harrington Arms (Bosley) for the wake. Durham had a great send off and will be sadly missed.
