As per Government Guidelines we have had to introduce some new rules to help keep us all safe from this ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Please abide by these rules so we can carry on shooting as safely as possible:

  • Anyone who is feeling unwell with symptoms such as high temperature, new continuous cough, breathing difficulties, changes in sense of taste or smell must not attend.

  • Social distancing rules (2m) apply at all times

  • Please do not congregate in groups greater than 6

  • Squad size limited to 6

  • No catering will be available so bring own food and drink if required

  • Hand sanitiser is available on each stand, but please also bring your own for application as and when necessary

  • Electronic payment by bank card only, no cash will be accepted

  • Registration/payment outside via caravan window

  • Cartridges will not be available for sale

  • Follow all signs and instructions when moving around the site, follow all one way systems

  • The course must be shot in ascending numerical order but you can start on any number to avoid congregation. You must then follow the one-way system.

  • Score cards and scoring by one member of squad, use sanitizer on hands after pressing the buttons, cards returned to caravan, shown to Louise via window, and cards discarded in bin provided

  • No tuition (only one person at a time allowed in stand)

  • Spent cartridges must go in the bins provided and not on the floor, we do not want to be picking up your cartridges at the end of the day.

  • After shooting, please plan to leave straight away - unless of course you're helping to pack up the shoot.

Alan Bibby

It is with sadness that we have to announce the passing of Alan Bibby who was instrumental in the formation of The Wild Boar C.P.C. when he was landlord of ‘The Boar’ in the 1970’s.

It was ‘Bibby’, along with a small band of local shooting enthusiasts, who cast the mould for the Shooting Club which we all know and enjoy today.

He finally lost his battle with cancer peacefully on 17th November at the Sharston House Nursing Home in Knutsford.

Funeral arrangements:

The funeral took place on Tuesday10th December at 1.20pm **(NOT THURSDAY 12TH AS PREVIOUSLY STATED)**at Macclesfield Crematorium.

In Memory Of Our Durham

It is with great sadness that our Durham Roberts Snr passed away Friday 12th July following a car accident on the Monday 8th July. Durham will be dearly missed by us all and we send our heartfelt condolences to his family and friends x.

Durham's Funeral took place Friday 9th August at 1.20pm at the Macclesfield Crematorium Chapel, followed by burial at 2.00pm and then to back to the Harrington Arms (Bosley) for the wake. Durham had a great send off and will be sadly missed.
